Making an electric Magnet

The science experiment you may have learn in school.But anyway you may not be aware of this.The magnet which we are going to make is electric magnet.

Material required.

1. One 15 or  more than 10  cm instrument which is conductor like iron,compass any but it must conduct.
2. Thin coted copper wire.(Don’t use by current from your home)
   
3. Cell (The more in number or more powerful it works.)
   
4. Nails or iron material for testing

Procedure.

1. Take a iron instrument and  wrap a copper wire
   
2. Place the two wire in battery in both ends.
   
3. Try to hove the  iron instrument to iron material you will notice it will be attracted.
4. Congratulation you have made electronic magnet.

Making a real science experiment.

Try making more powerful magnet by

1. Using more number of cell.
2. Using more powerful cell.
3. Wrapping copper wire more times

Working of Experiment.

When  you supply current the molecules of temporary magnet will attract to iron materials.Thus it is called electronic magnet.But remember if you will stop the connecting wire with battery it will not works.

Optical Illusion

At first what do we mean be optical illusion?

Optical illusion is a visual experience in which there is some kind of false perception of what is actually there

Using hair rolling a can.

Every last Sunday you may have gone to cut your thick black heir.You only think it is useful in sense it looks person attractive .It has got many advantage.It produces a static energy did you have ever known that.Just looks for it.

Material required

1. Your thick black hair (You already have)
2. Soda bottle(Like coke bottle)
   
3. A plastic material like balloon or plastic scale
   

Procedure

1. Rub the plastic balloon or scale in your hair.Do it many times.
2. Place the soda bottle in a table it should not move.
3. Hover the rubbed scale or balloon near to bottle.
4. Take a fun! You can see it is moving

Making a real science experiment

Try rubbing more in your hair.

Rub in another person head.

Conclusion,.

The credit of this experiment goes to your hair.When you rub balloon gets  more electron.As there is soda bottle it attracts the soda bottle to loss its gained electron.As soda bottle is electrically neutral balloon began to attract it.

Blasting balloon with yeast

Its surprising to say how we can blast the balloon with yeast.But this is true because you are living in science.If you don’t believe try experiment below.

Material Required.

1. Purchase packet of yeast from grocery shop or somewhere else.
   
2. Drink coke and remove it outer covering:label.Clean it too.(Simply get soda bottle)
   
3. Purchase Balloon from kids shop.
   
4. Warm the water in kitchen.
   
5. Sugar (Available in your home)
   

Procedure

1. Add the yeast in soda bottle.
2. To make it active pour the warm water in bottle.Notice now the yeast will come to an action.
3. Add a sugar nearly 1 or 2 spoons in bottle.Yeast also need food.
4. Stretch the balloon your self but don’t blast it.
5. Place the balloon in neck
   
6. It will expand and expand finally it will blast down.
7. You can see yeast are growing and growing.Growing of yeast blast the stretched balloon.

Making real science experiment

1. Sometimes you may fail in that condition try this;
2. Add more yeast.
3. Adding more sugar.
4. Adding more or less water.(Do your self)
5. Stretching balloon more.

Conclusion.

All the credit of this science experiment goes to yeast.When they eats more sugar they will release more gas named carbon dioxide [CO₂] which will stretch the balloon more.Finally it will blast.Now you can see you have seen yeast in action.

Floating Paper Clip in Water

The experiment which we are going to do is very simple.You can do this in any where and the experiment require the thing that is available in your home.You also can do this in your school science exhibition saying it is magic.But you know this is science.Before this try to place paper clip in water you will see that it will sinks.If you want to fun try below.

Material required.

1. Paper Clip(Mandatory as we are going to float it)
   
2. Water
   
3. Tissue
   
4. Compass(In math which you use) or anything
   

Procedure

1. Pour the water in a bowl.
2. Place the tissue in such a way that it floats.
3. As the tissue floats place paper clip above it.
4. You will see that paper clip and tissue will both floats,
5. Using compass sink or remove the tissue in such a way that there is no reaction in paper clip.
6. Notice the paper clip is floating.

You have probably heard the word surface tension.According to science surface tension is

It means there is thin layer in liquid.When you add that paper clip   the thin layer will hold up.If it cannot hold paper clip will Float.

Bursting Color

Have a great pleasure by bursting color in a tray.This is safe experiment so I think you wont need help of anyone else.It is also color symphony.Lets do it,

Material required;-

1. Milk with which is high in fat
   
2. Washing liquid soap
   
3. A flat tray
   
4. 3 types of any Food coloring.'
   

Procedure ;-

1. Take a flat tray.Make it very clean.
2. Pour the milk in which it covers only bottom part of it.
3. Add the few drops of washing soap
4. Immediately and Finally add the food coloring.
5. Have a fun by watching it.
6. Who can record the action by camera also.

8. If you have enjoyed then you can drain it.
9. As it contain soap please don’t eat other wise you will vomit or have food poisoning.

Bending Water

Today we are going to bend water with the help of static energy.

What is static energy???

It is a  stationary electric charge: a stationary electric charge that builds up on an insulated object such as a capacitor or a thundercloud

Lets do it??

Material required.

• A Plastic comb or plastic pen or plastic scale
  
• An indoor faucet
  

Procedure.

Turn on the faucet and do it slowly and carefully until thin stream will flow.It must be very thin at flowing.

Using comb or pen or balloon rub it to your hair.(notice your pen or plastic or balloon will be charged and it will attract positively charged material)

Then bring the comb immediately in flowing water with out touching it.You will see the water will bend for short period of time.

Making experiment real.

1. Rub the plastic pen or comb many times.
2. Using different size of plastic instrument.
3. Using less distance from water

Working of Experiment.

The experiment credit goes to your hair.When you will run your hair all the electron will transfer to plastic instrument.As the plastic instrument has more electron it will attract the positively charged particle like paper.This goes to flowing water also.When the instrument is placed near water will bend as makes effort for attracting water.

Making a Volcano by science

At first what is volcano???

Volcano is the  opening in Earth's crust that is a naturally occurring opening in the surface of the Earth through which molten, gaseous, and solid material is ejected

Today we are going to make a small volcano similar to this but in small size

To do this follow below steps.

Material Required.

1. For making frame of volcano
• Bottle of any size
• A box made of card board
• Scissor
• Tape
• plastic bag
2. A container that 35mm film comes in or similar size container.
3. Red and yellow food coloring which is optional
4. Vinegar
5. Liquid dish washing soap

Procedure

At first make a  frame by using bottle,cardboard box,scissor,tape,plastic bag.Just make a structure like volcano.You may need the help of teacher.Please make a small hole in middle of volcano.

1. Take the frame of volcano.
2. In Hole add the 4 spoon of baking soda.
3. Add a washing soap in hole
4. You may add food  coloring to make a lava
   
    Exploding a volcano.
   
5. Add a vinegar in hole after keeping you can see eruption live.

Making real experiment

1. Use a large frame
2. Use more or less amount of baking soda
3. Use more or less washing soap
4. Using more or less vinegar

Working of experiment.

The role of experiment is mainly vinegar,washing soap and baking soda.When the vinegar is added in a mixture of washing soda the  eruption will works out.Simply this is chemical reaction.The frame is added just to make the real vinegar.We will add the food coloring  to make red lava.

Making Cartesian Driver

Introduction

Cartesian Driver was introduced by famous scientist named Galileo Galilee.In this experiment we will fill the water in bottle and we will insert pen cap with clay inside at pen cap.We place the cap in middle such a way that it will not sink and float completely.To experience Fun we will squeeze the cap and the cap will sink.

Material Required.

1. A Soda Bottle
   
2. A Cap of Ball point Pen
   
3. Modeling clay like sculpy
   

Procedure.

1. Remove the plastic covering(Label) so that you can see experiment in action.
2. Fill the water in bottle full
   
3. In Pen Cap add a small size of modeling clay at end(There should be air inside cap).The modeling clay should be pea sized.
4. Add the pen cap into the bottle you will notice that some water will come out from the bottle.It should float barely.It should not sink and float completely.
5. Now close the bottle with bottle cap.
6. Experience a fun.When you press bottle the cap will sink and If you stop pressing it will float up in the middle.Practice more
   .

Making a real experiment.

1. Use different type of clay
2. Use another thing instead of cap.
3. Practice more.
4. Use larger bottle.
5. Use more water.

Working of Temperature.

The experiment is completely based on density.We know the density=mass/volume .The mass of cap will be low and volume of water will be high so it will fill.But make the mass of cap in such a way that it will remain in middle of bottle.Some times it may not work because of large volume of water,low mass or very high mass of cap.You may try other instead of pen cap.

Explode The Launch Bag

Do you want to be popular by exploding a launch bag in podium or rostrum .This is the great way to attract you teacher and Parents.Let you parents know you can also do some thing by showing this experiment.Before some one does this experiment immediately follow this and be the first reader.You can do the experiment as material are available.

Material required.

1. Small bag like freezer bag.
   
2. Volume measurer for measuring liquid
   
3. Baking Soda
   
   
4. Vinegar
   
5. A tissue.
   

Procedure

1. Choose the bag when the bag is closed it is air proof.
2. Make a water warm and put 2/4 cup of warm water in the bag which we are exploding.
3. Add 2/4 cup of vinegar in the warm water in the bag.
4. Add 4 teaspoon baking soda in tissue and  fold that tissue.
5. Quickly go nearly to close the bag before closing add that tissue in that bag and immediately close the bag and keep the bag in ground.
6. You will see the bag will be larger,larger and Pop.Be safe from there
7. You may need your senior Help.

Being Curious in experiment.

1. Try to blast the bag by adding
2. More amount of Vinegar
3. More amount of Baking Soda.

Making A Simple Duck Call

Do you wanna produce a sound like a duck.Do you want to have a fun in school.Don’t try this for school in while running classes otherwise you may get a loud slap.Lets do it.

Material Required

1. A plastic Straw(You can get this from drinking a juice)
   
2. Scissor
   

Procedure

1. In straw flat it any of the end.But do this for only one end.
2. Cut the flat end with scissor in a triangle shape like this.
   
3. Using you mouth fill the lungs with air by taking deep breath and blow in pipe.
4. Do you heard the sound.

Being curious in experiment

To make the experiment more successful try this.

1. Using longer and shorter straw.
2. Using the straw with more thickness.
3. Cutting the more edge of the straw
4. Blowing air more in straw

If you can make this perfect you will able to make a real duck sound.

Conclusion.

How does the experiment work.The experiment is based on straw.When you blow a air due to the cutting a of a straw a vibration is produced and it produces a sound.

Bending A Bone

The Experiment is bending a bone with the help of vinegar.

Material Required

1. A Jar where bone where leg chicken can be fitted properly
   
2. A leg of chicken (Bone)
   
3. Vinegar
   

Procedure;

1. Wash the bone with water.The blood,meat etc. must be removed properly.
2. Try to bend the bone using hard.The more it is hard the experiment is more successful.
3. Cover the bone with vinegar by keeping bone in Jar.
4. After 4 to  5 days check the bone properly.
5. You will see the bone bending of bone as rubber.

2. Keeping for more days
3. Changing the amount of vinegar
